Why isn't this on the Chrome Web Store?
The Chrome Web Store review process can take several weeks and doesn't always accommodate fast-moving indie products. We distribute directly so we can ship updates immediately when platforms change — which they do, often. Installing via Developer Mode takes 60 seconds and gives you the exact same extension.
Install instructions
Chrome
Download the zip above and extract it to a permanent folder on your computer. Chrome needs this folder to stay in place.
Open a new tab and go to chrome://extensions.
Enable Developer mode using the toggle in the top-right corner.
Click Load unpacked and select the extracted folder.
Reaction Sync appears in your extensions list. Pin it to the toolbar via the puzzle-piece icon.
Microsoft Edge
Download and extract the zip as above.
Go to edge://extensions.
Enable Developer mode (bottom-left toggle).
Click Load unpacked and select the extracted folder.
Brave
Download and extract the zip as above.
Go to brave://extensions.
Enable Developer mode (top-right toggle).
Click Load unpacked and select the extracted folder.
Updating to a newer version
Download the new zip from this page and extract it to a new folder.
Go to chrome://extensions (or equivalent for your browser).
Find Reaction Sync and click Remove.
Click Load unpacked and select the new folder.
The extension will notify you inside the popup when a new version is available.
