Just Watching?

1. Control Anywhere: You can Play, Pause, or Seek from either video. The other will follow automatically.
2. Drift Meter: The small overlay at the top right of the reaction video shows real-time sync accuracy. Green indicates good sync. If it turns Red (high drift), try Pausing and Playing again to force the videos to snap back together.
3. Playback Speed: Please ensure both video players are set to Normal (1x) speed. Manually adjusting speed (e.g. to 1.5x) is not currently supported and will break synchronization. We are working on adding support for this in the future.

Creating or Fixing a Script?

1. Edit Mode: Click "Edit Script" to manage the timeline. Pro Tip: Toggle "Linked" off to manually scrub and align videos freely without the auto-sync engine fighting you.
2. Timeline Events: Use the toolbar to insert sync points:
   • Synced: Aligns both videos to play together. Use this for normal viewing segments.
   • Paused: Freezes one video while the other keeps playing. Use this when the reactor pauses to talk (Source Paused) or skips a boring section (Reaction Paused).
   • End: Stops the session completely. Highly recommended to prevent platform auto-play (like "Next Episode") from navigating away and breaking the session.
3. Speed Correction: If the two videos seem to be playing at different speeds — starting in sync but getting progressively further apart — it is likely due to frame rate differences (e.g. TV at 25fps vs. Cinema at 24fps). Use the Videos playing at different speeds? dropdown in Edit mode to apply a correction preset.
